Music Ministry

Our objective is to be led by the Spirit, bringing Glory to the Lord in Worship, growing in our relationship with God, and experiencing His reviving presence, as we passionately impact our Community, Nation, and World.

Our Music Ministry is a ministry that believes in the Power of the Blood, Name, and Word of Jesus Christ. The mission of the Music Ministry is to lead the congregation of The AOA into the presence of a living God. Our purpose through Jesus Christ is to see that our music will be anointed so that hearts will be lifted, minds will be clear, and all present will be prepared to receive the word of God.

Deaf Ministry

Our goal and vision is that the members of the deaf community have a place they can attend where the Gospel is preached, lives are changed, and Jesus is exalted. We desire to see the deaf come to Christ, be discipled in Christ, and go into their communities and bring others to Christ.

We at The AOA Deaf department are here to help you and your family grow in the Lord. Enjoy our deaf choir. Our goal is to make you feel at home at The AOA.

Childrens Ministry

The Children's Ministry of The AOA partners with families to lead children in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.  We are passionate about providing environments, teaching, and resources each week that will foster knowledge and belief in core Truth Foundations from the Bible.  We desire to partner with you, the parent, as you take your role as the primary faith trainer of your child by coming alongside you during these Milestones in your child's life.  Each area of children's ministry provides a developmentally appropriate, gospel-centered environment for your child.

Outreach Ministry

The Outreach Ministry is called to the task of helping the hurting people that are crying out every day in our community for someone to help them. Our desire is to help them with the message of hope and plan of Jesus Christ, and by restoring hope, provide opportunities for people to become all that God intends them to be.

To put our faith into action through service to the community.

Worship in Spirit and in Truth

When you visit The AOA, you will experience Spirit-Filled worship. There is strength and a beautiful sound that results from Worship.  Worship is our first offering to God. At The AOA we are excited and expressive about our Mighty God.  We invite you to join in the ministry of worship. Many times we are exuberant in our praise. We express ourselves in singing, dancing, clapping, leaping, shouting, and through the playing of instruments. At other times, we may pray quietly, whispering words of love. These actions are heartfelt as a result of what Jesus is doing for us and for who He is. We want our praise to glorify God.

This vibrant praise and worship is found in the Bible:

We Pray Together Aloud because in the Bible we read,

“They lifted up their voice to God with one accord.”-Acts 4:24

We Lift Our Hands in Praise because in the Bible we read,

“Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord.”-Psalm 134:2

We Sing With All Our Hearts because in the Bible we read,

“Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.”-Psalm 98:4

We Play Musical Instruments because in the Bible we read,

“And all the house of Israel played before the LORD on all manner of instruments.”-II Samuel 6:5

We Clap and Shout Unto God because in the Bible we read,

“O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.”-Psalm 47:1

We Dance Before the Lord because in the Bible we read,

“Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.”-Psalm 150:4

We Testify Publicly because in the Bible we read,

“I will declare thy name unto my brethren; in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.”-Psalm 22:22

We Anoint With Oil for divine healing because in the Bible we read,

“Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.”-James 5:14
